Biofood Iron Plus C is a highly bioavailable food complex of iron, vitamin C and molybdenum. The nutrients are complexed in a lactobacillus bulgaricus culture in the same way as in the Biofood Magnesium. Each tablet contains 5mg food iron, 150mg wholefood vitamin C and 10ug molybdenum. We have added vitamin C to this formula as vitamin C aids the absorption and usage of iron in the body. Molybdenum similarly helps the usage of iron in the body and helps it to be mobilised from the liver. This is a wonderful new complex to complement our existing food state product range.
